The Development Specialist position entails working with the leadership of CCAP/Zambia to further develop the CCAP's understanding of and engagement in development, food security, and sustainability issues in Zambia. There will be strong focus on developing CCAP Zambia's Chasefu Model Farm and Chasefu Sustainability Farm in eastern Zambia. The mission worker will provide leadership including organizing and implementing training opportunities, seminars and workshops and follow-up accompaniment. The mission worker will work with CCAP departments and various bodies as they expand existing services and activities and will collaborate with ecumenical organizations working in areas such as agriculture, clean water, micro-credit, health and education. Charles Johnson has been called to this position. The Health Education Program Facilitator position entails working with the CCAP Zambia's Health Department in its efforts to work with a variety of stakeholders in health arena to implement a program of health education to prevent disease and death. The mission coworker will facilitate definition of the training needs, identify venue and appropriate trainer, promote program with target audience, develop evaluation questionnaire, and assess program effectiveness. The mission worker will support the Health Department Coordinator in other administrative tasks as requested. Melissa Johnson has been called to this position.
