Evangelism and Church Growth

The Evangelism and Church Growth ministry area helps congregations through middle governing bodies partner with the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s redemptive plan through faith in Jesus Christ. The ministry staff desires to see the PC(USA) become a turnaround denomination. This is accomplished through:
1) Igniting a passion for Jesus;
2) Inspiring the church to be the church;
3) Equipping leaders for the 21st century.

World Mission

Hunter Farrell, Director

World Mission helps Presbyterians offer a witness to Jesus Christ in today’s world by sending mission personnel to face the challenges of evangelizing and continuing the historic emphasis of the Church.  In collaboration with U.S. Presbyterians and global partners, World Mission inspires, equips and connects communities of mission practice to engage in God’s mission: to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, help the most vulnerable—women and children, and promote reconciliation within cultures of violence. Stewardship is about making choices, as individuals and in community. It is more than giving money to the church. Stewardship is about being faithful disciples, caring for and managing all that God has given us.
