Help provide winter shoes for Armenian children
The Jinishian Memorial Foundation in Armenia has a highly successful program called Civil Dialogs and Actions which has spread to all seven regional universities in Armenia. The intention is to educate and encourage youth to play active roles in the civil life of the country. Recently we announced a fundraising campaign we’re calling our “Winter Shoes to School Children from Vulnerable Families of Armenia" project. Due to budget cuts, this project was stopped, but we realized the importance and urgent need for it.
Children from poor families in northern regions of Armenia do not attend school during the winter because they do not have winter shoes and they fall ill frequently. We have been working hard to find creative ways to fund this important project and there is almost enough money to begin the project this year. Students who participate in our university programs organized fundraising campaigns in their cities and they made short videos of their campaigns and as you can see on the YouTube links below.
Please watch these fun and creative videos below and see what a big difference we are making in Armenia. This is the first time these activities have taken place in these cities. We are so touched and proud of our team and students.

Interested in helping with this program? It takes only a $35 contribution per pair of boots. The boots are locally made, waterproof, from natural leather and even fur lined for additional warmth and comfort. Your gift can profoundly affect a child's educational opportunity and self-esteem. This simple intervention makes a life-changing difference for disadvantaged children. Please, accompany a child by taking the first step needed to break the cycle of poverty and empower a child to move forward. You can help by giving online. In the comments section, mention "shoe program."
Thank you.
Grace and peace,
