A letter from Sadegh Sepehri in Germany

May 4, 2004

Dear Friends,

And every day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.

Praise to the Lord because of what he is doing among us. Ali, Zahra, Pouran, and Mona, who were attending worship services and baptism classes, finally opened their heart to Jesus. Ali’s wife Fereshte was baptized about two years ago during the time her husband was still in Iran trying to come to Germany and join the family. When he came to Germany, his wife testified to him how she had found the Lord and began bringing her husband to the worship services.

Zahra’s husband, Hassan, was also baptized a few years ago, and he brought Zahra to the church .

Pouran had been coming to our worship services for a long time and finally decided to attend the baptism classes.

Mona is living in a refugee camp near the border of the Czech Republic and is an asylum seeker. We often travel to different refugee camps in order to do evangelism. In the village of Oppach we found Mona and another nine Iranians waiting for their requests for asylum to be accepted. After several visits and preaching and teaching and giving them some Christian literature Mona opened hear heart and accepted Christ.

On April 18, during a very blessed worship service, these four were baptized.

They were all happy and were saying that though they had lost their families and had left many other things in Iran, they praised God that He had guided them to Jesus.

Mona saying that “ In this very far village which we have no other possibility around us the Word of God is great hope for us and every time which you are coming to us and telling us about Gods Love we will be refresh and find new power and hope for life.
