Benjamin Ahren Wild
My name is Benjamin Ahern Wild. I was born and raised in Albuquerque where I attended the University of New Mexico. At UNM I majored in American Studies with an emphasis on hip-hop culture and my minor was Sociology. During my undergrad I played on the men’s water polo team, I coached the Albuquerque High School bowling team and I carved violins in the New Mexico Musical Heritage Project.
Helping others has always been my calling and I am excited to relentlessly work as a YAV in Washington DC donating my time and skills for those who are in need. I am uncertain of what I will gain as a YAV, however the uneasiness of breaking my comfort zone is quickly being overtaken by my passion to help others, grow and learn.
