Austen Zoutewelle
I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina, went to school in Sewanee, Tennessee, and spend my summers in the mountains of Tuxedo, North Carolina. I've traveled around the world and studied abroad in Vienna, Austria. Each place I go, I learn more about myself, where I belong, and who I belong to. Austin, Texas will be a new adventure, with new understandings. All I know now is that I want to focus my YAV year on serving others, building community, and living simply. I can't wait to start my career path with a year focused on the Lord and finding the path to which I feel called. As Russell says in my favorite movie, "Adventure is out there!" I'm ready for a year of growth and fellowship. Bring it on, Austin.
