My name is Leif Lyon Frymire, I am 24. I grew up in the town of Old Forge, New York where I am a member of Niccolls Memorial Presbytery Church. Old Forge is approximately 5 hours north west of New York City located in the Adirondack Park, which is the largest state park in the nation. As such I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, lying out on docks, canoeing, and both Nordic and Alpine skiing.

In 2013 I graduated from St. Lawrence University, a small Liberal Arts university in Northern New York that is just an hour or so south of Ottawa, Canada. At St. Lawrence I studied Government and History, and ran the 400 meters for the varsity Track Team.

Since graduating I’ve taught ski lessons, worked in a Winery, and more recently I worked as a Field Organizer for the Congressional Race in New York’s 21st district. My passions include anything Star Wars (Tv, film, video games); anime; music: Daft Punk, Led Zeppelin, Rubblebucket, Lake Street Drive, John Williams; reading: Crichton, Rowling, Tolkien, Heinlein, R.R. Martin, and Buckley. Finally, I love Soccer: USMNT, USWNT, Everton, Atlético Madrid, Christian Eriksen, Mix Diskerud, Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux, and of course the Men in Blazers.

I am incredibly excited to serve a year as a YAV, and I hope you’ll join me by reading my blog. Thank you for checking my profile out!
