Public Witness and Advocacy

The work of the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations and the Office of Public Witness is integral to the Reformed Heritage. They carry out the public policy mandates of our General Assembly and address a host of issues. They work on concerns such as gun violence, racism and civil rights, poverty and economic justice. Their international priorities include child soldiers, gender based violence, peace, and global security. Since the 1940s, these ministries have borne witness to the church's deep convictions about justice, peace, and freedom.
