  • Presbyterian Study Grant
    For full-time theological students enrolled in Master of Divinity or Master of Christian Education Program.
  • Racial Ethnic Supplemental Grant
    For African American, Alaska Native, Asian American, Hispanic American or Native American students who have been awarded the Presbyterian Study Grant and have remaining need.
  • Native American Supplemental Grant
    Grants assist Native American and Alaska natives pursuing full-time post-secondary education.

Transformational Leadership Debt Assistance

Transformational Leadership Debt Assistance offers loan repayment assistance for pastors of small PC(USA) congregations and emerging worshiping communities engaged in a part-time and/or temporary pastoral position. (Formerly, Theological Student Loan/Loan Forgiveness Program)


Agnes and Dorothy Marschner Grant

The Agnes and Dorothy Marschner Grant provides up to $35,000 annually to up to two Presbyterian women per year serving as practicing physicians in the mission field. In addition to mission work under the direction of—or in participation with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)—eligible positions might also include service with a medical humanitarian organization or in a Health Professional Shortage Area, as defined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.


Ministry Fellows Program

The Fund for Theological Education seeks outstanding candidates for its Ministry Fellows Program. Deadline is April 1.


North American Doctoral Fellows Program

Pursuing a doctorate can seem a long and lonely road. The Fund for Theological Education, committed to supporting racial and ethnic minority students for more than 40 years, makes the journey with doctoral scholars, contributing financial assistance, mentoring, and practical advice along the way. Application deadline is March 1.
