Native American Education Grant
Serves Native American college students by providing need-based aid for applicants who are full-time, first degree students attending accredited institutions in the United States.
Criteria
Eligible applicants will be Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) members enrolled full-time at an accredited college in the United States. Student must be in good academic standing (2.5 cumulative GPA or greater) and demonstrate financial need.
Documented membership in a Native American or Alaska Native tribe is required.

Up to $3,000.00
Deadline
Financial Aid for Service is committed to sending weekly updates to students by email regarding the status of the student's application. Less than 2% of our applications are closed because the applicant failed to complete the application. We urge students to take advantage of the weekly update by completing the Getting Started form as soon as possible
Part 1 - May 15 (Includes Getting Started, Essay, Church Membership/Pastor's Endorsement)
Part 2 - June 15 (Financial Information Form completed by college/university)
It is the policy of the Financial Aid Service program to refrain from seeking information from the student's college or university to evaluate need until all other elements of the application are complete. We request the cumulative GPA in the Financial Information Form. If the Financial Aid office is unable to provide this information, we will direct the student to request a transcript.
