175 years of Presbyterian World Mission video
With almost 170 mission workers in over 50 countries, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been sending mission co-workers around the world continuously since 1837. The year 2012 celebrates this 175th anniversary of international mission by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. Watch this inspiring video that tells the beautiful story of how the long history of Presbyterian mission has led to partnerships with churches around the world, and how you can be a part of these communities of mission practice.

How to connect with a mission worker

If your congregation would like to become a sending congregation for one of our almost 200 mission workers around the world—please contact Bruce Whearty or Chris Roseland.

Presbyterian World Mission Strategic Direction
In February 2010 the General Assembly Mission Council (GAMC) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) adopted a “strategic direction” for its Presbyterian World Mission over the next three to five years.
The mission statement of the new strategy is “to engage with U.S. Presbyterians and global partners for faithful and effective participation in God’s mission in a globalized world, growing together as communities of mission practice.”
