With almost 200 mission workers in over 50 countries, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been sending mission co-workers around the world continuously since 1837. Why support World Mission?
In the Presbyterian Mission Agency's 2011 financial audit, the agency compares extremely well to other U.S. church, development, and charitable organizations in terms of the percentage of each dollar received going to program costs. Using the Charity Navigator (the non-profit world’s industry standard) comparable statistics, the Presbyterian Mission Agency ranked first of nine major NGOs, with the highest percentage (93.8%) used for program costs.
