Partners in Ministry

Grants and funding are only part of the story

Obtaining a grant or other funding is one step towards the success of your project.  To make funding work, you'll need to connect with people to properly plan, organize and execute the project.  Here are some other PC(USA) offices and programs that can help.

Evangelism and Church Growth helps congregations through mid councils partner with the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s redemptive plan through faith in Jesus Christ.  The ministry staff desires to see the PC(USA) become a turnaround denomination.

1001 New Worshiping Communities are taking on new forms of church for changing culture, making new disciples, joining in God's mission in their neighborhoods and world.

Camps and Conference Ministries offer faith-filled encounters with Christ in a spiritually safe environment.  True to our denominational Reformed tradition, campers get to experience the saving grace of God in a spirit-filled Christian community.  By living their faith, campers get an opportunity to more fully integrate their faith into their daily lives.

Church Growth provides consultation, training and support to presbyteries and potential New Church Development Pastors who are exploring starting new churches and supports presbyteries in their work of continually transforming existing congregations.

Church Transformation is a place where we are learning what it means to help our congregations navigate change.  We work in partnership with presbyteries, synods and groupings of congregations (and directly with individual congregational leaders as time allows).

Collegiate Ministries supports the work of more than 1,300 higher education ministries serving on behalf of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  The ministry may be a chaplaincy at a private college, a campus ministry at a state university or a program of PC(USA) congregations located in an academic community.  All of these organizations believe colleges and universities are places “where God already is."

Evangelism helps people, churches and presbyteries share the life of Jesus with each other and in their communities and world, growing disciples and developing leadership for the 21st century.

Ministries with Youth has a vision for ministry with young people  that unites youth in Christ with all other generations and proclaims the love of God without end.

Racial Ethnic & Women's Ministries equips racial ethnic congregations, develops Presbyterian communities of faith that reflect our multicultural society, builds leaders of every race and gender and works for racial and gender justice.

African American Congregational Support provides leadership to all levels of the denomination to strengthen the nurture and witness of Black congregations.

Hispanic/Latino-a Congregational Support promotes evangelism and the growth of Hispanic churches by providing information and assistance to local congregations and governing bodies.

Intercultural Ministries Support helps the church to share the good news in ways that are meaningful for racial and cultural groups.

Korean Congregational Support responds to Korean congregational enhancement issues facilitating evangelism and leadership development in relation to issues affecting Korean Presbyterian constituency.

Middle Eastern Congregational Support addresses the needs and concerns related to a large number of evangelical Middle Eastern new immigrants and to provide for them the necessary spiritual and organizational services.

Native American Congregational Support offers support for Native American congregational issues, facilitates evangelism and leadership development.
