National

The Presbyterian Committees on the Self-Development of People (SDOP) provides grant to groups of people that are economically poor, oppressed, and disadvantaged.  The project for which they are seeking funding for must be owned and controlled by the economically poor persons directly benefiting.  For the National Committee grant amounts usually do not exceed $15,000 and is typically a one- time only grant.  Rarely will groups with less than ten members be considered.

Applications are accepted at anytime and may be submitted electronically (link to application).  Groups not sure if they meet our funding criteria may wish to submit a pre-application (link to pre-application).  For examples of grants awarded read stories on our funded partners (link to stories).

For more information on our Synod and Presbytery SDOP Committees and their grant making process, please visit the SDOP grant information page.
