Grenada

Mission worker: Jo Ella Holman, regional liaison for the Caribbean

Background

Scottish Presbyterians began the Presbyterian Church in Grenada (PCG) during the 1830s. Later the church was part of the Northern Presbytery of the Church of Trinidad. In 1986 the PCG became autonomous. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) relates to the PCG through the Caribbean and North American Council for Mission (CANACOM). Through CANACOM the PC(USA) and the PCG join other regional churches in mission efforts.
