John C. Martin Award

The John C. Martin Award supports for teaching of the Bible at Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges. The purpose of the program is to provide funding for new programs, or new aspects to existing programs, for teaching the Bible.

This award provided in partnership with Racial Ethnic and Women’s Ministries.

Presbyterian related schools not eligible for the John C. Martin Award are invited to apply for Teaching of the Bible Grant when the application is made available in December.

 

Criteria

  • Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) related racial ethnic colleges, universities, and secondary schools.
  • Institutions awarded Teaching of the Bible Grant in 2014 or 2015 are not eligible.
  • Institutions previously awarded Teaching of the Bible Grant must have final report on file.

Range of award

Up to $500 – $15,000
