Rebekah Witt
Hello, my name is Rebekah Witt! I am a kid at heart who gets joy out of the small things in life such as coloring, playing with goats, and hanging out with my family and friends! I graduated in 2015 from James Madison University (JMU) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with minors in Elementary Education and Educational Media. In 2016 I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from JMU....GO DUKES! During my time in college I attended the loving and supportive Massanutten Presbyterian Church. Growing up as a pastor's kid, I've always been involved in church activities and was able to serve as a Young Adult Advisory Delegate (YAAD) at the 221st General Assembly. I'm excited for a new adventure as I look to live out the mission statement of my home church, Opequon Presbyterian, "Prayerfully equipping disciples of all nations to be Christ's hands, heart, and feet in the world." A year of service will allow me to put my passion into action as I work with and learn from people of all different backgrounds. The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia has been my home for 23 years, but now it's time to head out to Denver, Colorado to serve as a Young Adult Volunteer!
