Kristen Young
Hi! I'm Kristen Young—a 21-year-old Japanese-Chinese girl born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I will graduate in May 2016 from the University of Hawaii where I am majoring in Family Resources and Spanish. A few of the things that bring me joy in life are singing and playing music, being outdoors, documenting memories, and building relationships with people. I'm very nervous, but also very excited for all the things that will come with being a Young Adult Volunteer in Peru in the upcoming year. When the year is up, I'm not exactly sure what my next steps will be. I am slowly but surely making my way through life and making a little place for myself in this big world.
