Support Lynette

Hello! My name is Lynette Piña. I am from California but, have lived in Fort Smith Arkansas since August 2012; two completely different places but, each contributing to my life experiences. I am super excited to be serving in D.C. I was first introduced to the YAV program by members of the Presbyterian World Mission in El Salvador and was intrigued by their high remarks. I look forward to the many opportunities I will have to serve others and the challenges that come along with it.

I am a student at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. I am a Religion and Philosophy Major and look forward to graduating May 2015. As part of my daily mission, I like to make others feel joy and share God's love. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities and solving puzzles. I am grateful for the support my family and friends have given me as well as my parish Immaculate Conception.

May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith, and may charity be the root and foundation of your life. Thus you will be able to grasp fully, with all the holy ones, the breadth and length and height and depth of Christ's love, and experience this love which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may attain to the fullness of God himself. Ephesians 3:17-20
